"Our home was destroyed in the April 27th tornado, and as we rebuild I plan to make "The Shut Out" the center piece of our new great room. Our family traveled to New Orleans for the national championship game, and my boys (Chris, 17; Will, 13) and I were fortunate enough to get to attend the game. It was their first ever national championship game, and a wonderful trip, something that our family really needed. This painting holds a special meaning for us that is about much more than just a game. It encompasses all we have experienced this year. When Coach Saban talks about this game, he talks about overcoming adversity. That is what this painting represents to us."
