  • How are your canvases made?
  • Each canvas is a Giclee pigment print on acid museum quality canvas. Our pieces are custom printed and hand embellished. There will inherently be slight variations in each piece due to the hand embellishments, making each piece truly one of a kind.
  • How are your prints made?
  • Unlike many art prints that use a “poster printing” method-, our prints are Giclee pigment prints on 100% cotton acid free archival paper. These are also hand coated with one layer of satin finish Ultra Violet resistant sealer.
  • What does gallery wrap mean?
  • Gallery Wrap is the process continuing the art image to the edge of the canvas and wrapping all the way around all four edges. This allows you to hang it unframed.
  • What is a Giclee?
  • Giclée (pronounced "zhee-clay" ) is a term describing the process of making fine art prints from a digital source using ink-jet printing. The word "giclée" is derived from the French language word "le gicleur" meaning "nozzle", or more specifically "gicler" meaning "to squirt, spurt, or spray"[1]. Beside its association with Iris prints, in the past few years, the word “giclée,” as a fine art term, has come to be associated with prints using fade-resistant "archival" inks (including solvent inks) and the inkjet printers that use them.
  • Do you provide a Certificate of Authenticity?
  • Yes, all our certificates include the story of the artwork, the edition number and are authenticated by signature of an ActionSportsArt artist.
  • Why do some canvases cost more than others?
  • Our pricing levels are based on the royalties required to present the design. Royalties are paid to the institution, the graduate player, the photographer and in some cases, to the BCS. Special pricing may also occur for a signature series release.
  • How long does it take to get the art once I order it?
  • All orders typically take three to five business days to fulfill and prepare for delivery. Delivery time varies from 7-12 days depending on your location and final destination.
  • Why are some frames on back-order?
  • We try to anticipate demand for each type frame. Due to demand and popularity of a specific frame, we may have to wait for another shipment. We will notify you if we anticipate a special delay and will provide assistance in changing selections if you desire.
  • Does ActionSportsArt create custom work?
  • Yes, we are currently working with Universities to help in recruiting, donors and improve facilites.
  • Are your mats and print paper archival and acid-free?
  • Yes.
  • Are all your designs numbered editions?
  • Yes.
  • Are you a Collegiate Licensed Company?
  • Yes.
  • Is your process patented and copyrighted?
  • Our process is patent pending and all our artwork is copyrighted with US Copyright office.
  • Do you have a physical gallery space where I can see your art?
  • Yes, we have a studio space in downtown Birmingham. (Or go to Nick Saban’s office)
  • What are the sizes for your prints and canvassed pieces?
  • Our prints come in 12x16, 18x24 and 24x32. Our canvassed items are 30x40 unless noted otherwise.
  • What is your return policy?
  • We issue a “store credit” for any return items. Please coordinate all exchanges with customerservice@actionsportsart.com
  • We must receive all exchanges in re-sellable condition within 15 business days of the date of delivery. If items are damaged when returned, we will issue credit adjusted accordingly. If you wish to exchange an item after receipt, place the product in its original packaging and return it to the address below:

  • How to Return an Item;
  • If you do not have the original packing materials, the item should be taken to your local packaging store to assure proper mailing procedures. Please remember to insure your package, and include the following information with your shipment:
  • Name, address and telephone number, Action Sports Art Order Number, Item being returned , New item to be shipped. Once your returned product has been received, we will ship your new order or issue store credit as soon as possible.
